Innerpartysystem

About Innerpartysystem

Dance-rock quartet Innerpartysystem had its roots in the emo band Thirteen Over Eight, which gained a local following in its native Pennsylvania. Singer Patrick Nissley and drummer Jared Piccone began experimenting with programming, and formed a new group. After recruiting Kris Barman on keys, and guitar, and Jesse Cronan on synths and samples, Innerpartysystem was born. THE DOWNLOAD, the group’s 2007 EP, featured an electronica-based rock sound that owed a debt to the first Killers album. The singles “Don’t Stop” and “Die Tonight, Live Forever” were released in ’08, anticipating the band’s full-length debut.
